Mission Statement

Through the Holy Spirit of love Who unites us, we witness to the ideal of Christian community which necessarily overflows in loving service to meet the needs of the church in our times.

Our mission as Sisters of St. Joseph flows from the pupose for which the congregation exists: We live and work that all people may be united with God and with one another. It is rooted in the mission of Christ, the same mission which continually unfolds in His church, "That all may be one as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; I pray that they may be one in Us..." (John 17:21)

To fulfill this mission, we, like Christ, let ourselves be filled by the Spirit through the rhythm of contemplation and action to be a loving presence in the face of any and all situations. We are missioned by our superiors to the various ministries according to our talents and qualifications.
