Videoconferencing brings congregations together

Many of the sisters have spent a lot of time on the road and in the air as they’ve worked to join seven congregations into one. But it’s 975 miles from Wichita to Wheeling, and even farther to Kyoto. To cut down on travel time and expense, and to create more opportunities for contact with one another, the sisters and their lay employees have turned to videoconferencing. All seven centers and Japan were able to participate in the first chapter meeting of the new congregation in April.
